In 2015 The Elite Group, started with Dutch founder, Tissy ter Reehorst (then age 26), after working and traveling the world, for Emirates Airlines had brought her to Dubai.
With a creative mind and entrepreneurial drive, as well as her 15yrs of hospitality, PR & events experience, she saw an opportunity. To launch a unique culinary entertainment concept, for the UAE's high-end hospitality and event market. Quickly The Elite Group contracted all the big 5* hospitality brands in the region like The Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Waldorf Astoria, Burj Al Arab, Emirates palace, Armani Hotel etc. There was a lot of demand for creative event concepts with interactive entertainment and high quality service.
When least expected Tissy found love herself, with an Italian, engineer. After 5yrs of living in Dubai they decided to move to Milan to start a new chapter and a family. When the couple had their own dream Destination Wedding in the beautiful region of Puglia, designed and planned by The Elite Group, the last piece of the puzzle fell in place...
With the fundaments of the agency in Dubai and her previous experience -plus a passion for Love stories and beautiful Italy- creating bespoke destination weddings & events with Italian luxury & style and a personal touch, is what we do today.
